PAT ensures the safe and reliable operation of any equipment used preventing hazards from becoming imminent and becoming a risk to the operator and other members of the public.
When a client books a DJ they should always make sure the DJ has a valid PAT certificate.

IS PUBLIC LIABILTY INSURANCE IMPORTANT
PLI
(public liability insurance)
Many venues now insist that DJ's carry appropriate PLI cover.
here at atj disco we carry a minnimum 2 million pound policy
In the event of an unfortunate accident PLI provides full cover for the DJ against any liability.
it also gives the venue and the party organisers peace of mind to know that if something does go wrong they have complete cover.
When booking a DJ it is important to check they have PLI cover.
if they make excuses chances are there not covered
